Through a technical partnership with Collective Medical Technologies, Vital can be integrated in days.
Sturdy Memorial Hospital’s Chief of Emergency Services, Dr. Brian Patel, was looking for innovative solutions to improve patient experience in his Emergency Department. While innovation in healthcare often requires long IT project timelines, resource competition, and upkeep complexity, Dr. Patel was pleasantly surprised to learn that his Emergency Department could leverage their existing Care Coordination Network to launch ERAdvisor from Vital, with no additional IT work.
Vital Software has taken a novel approach regarding Healthcare IT integration. Through a technical partnership with Collective Medical Technologies (CMT), which collects admission discharge and transfer (ADT) data from over 1,000 hospitals, Vital was able to integrate with Sturdy Memorial Hospital’s Cerner instance without any IT project work, no IT spend, in under a month.
“I was amazed at how quickly and easily we were able to stand up ERAdvisor at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Since implementing it we are getting fewer questions about wait times. I believe it’s making a positive impact on our patient and family experience.”
Dr. Brian Patel, Chief of Emergency Services
Since implementing ERAdvisor half of patients with cell phones have accessed the free service in the Sturdy Memorial Emergency Department and a third have linked to the hospital’s patient portal to see test results and communicate with their care team.
